gifts from the universe

Carlos Santana said “falling in love is a gift from the universe” as he proposed to his drummer while on tour.

Meanwhile, Spain team is back home, amidst a severe economic lock jam.

Yet, for one day, everyone seems to be happy and  bullish again (they all wear red).

If you want to paint a stark contrast, just place Greece and Spain next to each other.

Similar downturn, yet sharp difference thanks to a morale boost.

Winning does that to you.

Feeling elated.

I stood close to the screen and felt the energy (Spanish striker took off his shirt while running around the stadium).

What a difference a strike makes.

Red over Orange.

Triumph over set back.

We need a win so bad.

Here in the US, if only can we capture the oil, then it would be like capturing WC  victory.

Nature has bled brown for three months.

It is begging the robots to reboot  (back up of the back up plans).

Given man’s capacity for self-destruction, it is a wonder how we have managed to last so far and to love that much.

Still with a victory here, a marriage there. These events were gifts from the universe.

If so, then we should all go out and buy Thank You notes, as if every night is our wedding night. (Maybe Santana will come out with a new CD).

Telephone networks were built with capacity for self–healing.

Cloud computing with intelligent re-routing.

And us human, with self-reinventing capacity. There is no Post traumatic Stress disorder for life on Earth.

It’s a one-strike deal. You went for it when you saw the opening. Spain did it. And we all jumped out of our seats.

I like the Spanish man who was reported showing up two hours early for the victory parade in Spain. If you can’t get out of your chair, then move it.
