Dream as motivator

The subconscious. The collective angst.

It surfaces on stormy nights. For no reason at all.

It’s unscripted. Just a sketch. With us as unwilling actors.

Understood only in looking backward from the future.

Dreams.

Stuff that evolves with time, and stand the human species up straight. Homo Erectus.

Time lapses.

Standing tall to see better into distant horizons.

Not just for us. For future generation.

Cheaper, lighter, better and cleaner.

Bend the raw materials and bend the hardened will.

Happy ending propels us forward.

Nokia unprofitable. Apple profitable. Then Apple unprofitable. Nokia profitable.

The S curve, Bell shape, hockey-stick diagrams.

Faster chip set. Cooler ones.

Making history. Une belle histoire.

Tomorrow is motivating, impetus  and engine of today’s efforts.

Those who set sights on (and plan for) the future is more successful than those who do not.

Deferred gratification.

Mothers for children, children for grandchildren ….

Even those rebellious ones still ride the waves of previous generations.

They just want to own their own set of dreams.

They “see” the future differently.  Smaller is better, less is more.

(who wants a diesel-filled world! or a nation of illiterates?)

Liberate them. Push the dream. Work on the gene  pool. 20/80 rule dictates that somewhere, there will be a hit. A premonition in a good sense.

I see it. Don’t you. Why not? “You may say, I am a dreamer. But I am not the only one”. Zoom out. Now, can you see it. The  presence of the future, in the here and now. It’s that fast. Faster than the time I set out and complete this blog. Together we can make it happen. One BRIC at a time.
